Battering Ram Attack

Unlocked after reaching Level 61

Battering Ram is a Direct Impact weapon that, when fired, follows the set power and angle until it reaches the apex of the shot, at which point it's "gravity" is multiplied by a factor of about 4.9. When aiming this weapon, add extra power to your shot, or aim at a lower angle, otherwise you will end up hitting the ground somewhere in front of your enemy.

Battering Ram
This is the basic weapon of the Battering Ram family. A single purple orb is fired, and sharply curves downward after reaching the apex of the shot. It creates a small terrain-damaging explosion on impact. Damage is varied based on the distance traveled. Close-up shots will do about 22 base damage to every tank caught in the explosion, but shots from across the screen will do 50 base damage.

Tips & Trivia[ | ]

  • The battering ram will hit the three-quarters mark of a normal shot.
  • Shooting the battering ram from one edge of the map as far as possible (100, 45) will cause the battering ram to hit the other side of the map on the same elevation as the player.
  • Since a battering ram will land on the other side of the map at (100, 45) one can deduce that the maximum horizontal range of a player is four-thirds of a map/screen. (Excluding the usage of field obstructions and differing elevations)
  • AI tanks in campaign missions actually can exceed the range of player tanks. They seem to have the capability to shoot at higher powers than 100.
  • As of V1.0, all tiers of this weapon pierce shields.
