This weapon shoots like a normal shot, however it will scan the area around it's arc for players. If the white line hits an enemy, it will lock a green ball onto them, which will explode after a few seconds.
The white line that scans the area will always start pointing upward and turns clockwise when scanning.
In real life, radar, sonar and lidar are effectively the same thing. The difference between them is what they use. Radar uses radio waves, sonar uses sound waves, and lidar uses laser light.
The total damage this weapon does increases quadratically against stacked enemies, modelling a parabola. This is because the weapon plants bombs on every tank it scans with their own individual AoE. If seven enemies are stacked it will plant seven bombs which explode all seven tanks seven times dealing 49 times its normal damage. An equation to model this weapon's damage, where t is the number of tanks stacked on top of each other, b is the base damage, and d is the total damage; d = bt 2.
Even though you can't tag yourself or your teammates with any of the Radar series, you can still but hit yourself or a teammate if one of the enemies tagged is on top of you or them.
This weapon has the highest XP requirement to max out. However, it is still easier than something like Jackpot because this weapon is a limit breaker weapon.
